About Dr. Henry Woo:

A world-wide renowned acupuncturist, Dr. Henry Woo has been practicing acupuncture, herbs and nutrition for 40 years. His unique acupuncture techniques, profound medical knowledge and zeal have won him great respect among his patients, students and colleagues. 

Dr. Woo began learning Chinese medicine at the age of 12 from his grandfather, a famous acupuncturist in Shanghai then went on to be formally educated and trained at China Medical University in Taichung, Taiwan. He has fortunately inherited several unique acupuncture techniques and proven Chinese herbal formulas from his ancestors. After his graduation in 1972, he continued his post graduate studies in Austria, Europe.

When President Nixon visited in China in 1972 and witnessing a chest operation with only acupuncture for anesthesia. Dr. Woo had already shown his skill as a promising acupuncturist at Taipei First Pain Clinic. In 1974-79 he was employed as a consulting acupuncturist at Vienna pain clinic in Austria where he successfully treated thousands of patients from many European countries. He treated many difficult illnesses referred to him by their doctors including Prince Lichtenstein of Vadulz, Austrian famous crystal manufacturer Swarowski, Mr. Krups - the heir of giant German Krups Industry Group, German petroleum entrepreneur Mr. Kroening and family, Mr. Stein, a notable Swiss banker, and many other international celebrities.

In 1980 Dr. Woo and his family immigrated to the United States where he passed three state board acupuncture exams to receive his California license (AC1320), Oregon license (No. 50) and Nevada license (No. 45).

He was also certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture by the National Council of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in Washington D.C.

In 40 years of practice and research, Dr. Woo has made breakthroughs in traditional Chinese medicine for treating pain, drug-addiction, Immune deficiency disorders, tumors, cancers and many other complicated diseases. Since 1986 Dr. Woo has treated over 20,000 patients from his location in Southern California.

Dr. Woo has been featured in several newspapers such as the Modesto Bee, Irvine World News, Costa Mesa Daily News and the Orange County Register. He is often referred by medical doctors in Orange County for the treatments of complicated cases. In some cases the treatments have helped the patients to avoid undergoing surgery.

About Susan Woo:

A California licensed acupuncturist specializing in female illnesses and cosmetic acupuncture, Ms. Susan Woo has been practicing acupuncture since 1993 in Costa Mesa, California.  She graduated from South Baylo University of Oriental Medicine in Anaheim, California with her Master Degree.  She is certified as a Diplomate in Acupuncture from the National Council of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in Washington D.C.

Since 1986, Ms. Susan Woo has spent many years devotedly learning acupuncture techniques and Chinese herbs from many renowned acupuncturists.  Ms. Susan Woo believes that everyone has his or her own healing power and that this power can be stimulated by acupuncture and a natural diet, creating positive attitude and a strong self-belief.

Ms. Susan Woo has attended numerous international medical conferences where she emphasizes natural medical methods from her research and practice.
